Pentax M 50/4 Macro + 26mm extension tube

My main purpose for the 26mm extension tube is to use it with the Pentax M 50/4 Macro.

This is a combination of the Pentax M 50/4 Macro lens + the 26mm Pentax K extension tube + the Pentax K-Sony FE adapter.

Without an extension tube, the Pentax M 50/2 Macro has a maximum magnification of 0.5x (1:2). With the 26mm extension tube, the magnification ranges from 0.5x (1:2) to 1x (1:1) depending on the rotation of the focus ring. This is sufficient for my tasks.

At f/8, the depth of field is quite shallow:
