RoadFisher 55/8 (Nikon F): Disassembled

I took my RoadFisher 55/8 lens apart to adjust the focusing distance. Unfortunately, there is no focusing adjustment at all.

By the way, the aperture diameter (entrance pupil) is 5.5 mm, so the actual aperture is f/10 (as I expected).

Tonigy programming language (internally)

Some time ago, I began developing a new programming language. It is yet another one for the JVM. Yes, it's so unmodern, but it doesn't bother me. I currently use Scala and like it overall. However, Scala doesn't align with my personal preferences.

My language is very selfishly designed. It's a language tailored to my programming style. I only want to use it for my own tasks. I don't expect anyone else to use it. Perhaps one day I will release it as open source if it becomes quite usable. However, that is not my goal.

Internally, I call the language the Tonigy programming language. There was my project with this name in the past.

Samsung NX 30/2

Actually, the Mir-26B 45/3.5 is almost ultra wide angle (24 mm equiv.) lens for 6x6 film, but I use it as a normal lens on an FF camera.

The Samsung NX 30/2 and the Pentax Q 01 8.5/1.9 have shorter focal lengths, but they are equivalent to 45 mm and 39/47 mm, respectively, when used with their native sensors.

Fillmore tubeless valves: Leaking air

I recently noticed that a bike [tubeless] tire was losing air. The reason was a leaking Fillmore tubeless valve. The rubber part had swollen and could no longer seal properly.

So, I returned another tire valve back.

Pentax Q 03 3.2/5.6 Fish-eye: Samples [2] - 1/1.7" - f/5.6

Camera: Pentax Q7 (1/1.7", 12MP)

Lens: Pentax Q 03 3.2/5.6 Fish-eye, f/5.6 only, without software cropping (15mm equiv.)

As before, this lens is more useful with the Pentax Q7 than with the Pentax Q. Interestingly, the angle of view is too wide without software cropping, revealing some of the lens at the corners. Also, keep your hands away from the lens. Otherwise, they will be visible in the corners of the image.

"A city on the Angara river": Panoramas (3)

Two more (also see 1, 2) panoramic images taken from the "Город на Ангаре" (A city on the Angara river) documentary.

The second image shows one of the buildings with large lettering that is poorly visible. It reads, "Наша цель - коммунизм" (Our Goal is Communism).
