The larger sensor provides better resolution in the center, but the area off-center is more blurred. The lens still needs light, with f/9 and 1/100.

I own one of these, and it's a pity they're so expensive these days, just shy of $100.
ReplyDeleteIt's a fun effect, but I wish to one day adapt this lens into a carriage similar to Olympus' body cap lenses.
The lens can be accessed by unscrewing the outer three screws.
The lens itself is a fused glass doublet with coating, and it's held in place by pressure with silicone tabs (these break off easily, so beware).
