Industar-26M 50/2.8: Samples [1] - FF - f/2.8

Photos taken with the Sony a7c (FF, 24MP) and the Industar-26M 50/2.8 at f/2.8.

The front optical element of the lens is chipped. So there is a lot of flare in some conditions.

Vivitar V3800N: Film memo holder

This is a box of photographic film.

You can cut off part of the box:

And insert it into a square window on the back of the Vivitar V3800N (to remember ISO and the number of frames):

This window is a film memo holder for a part of a box or for some other memo information.

Warning: A memo can only be inserted or removed when the back is open. When the back is closed, the eyepiece blocks access to the memo.

The lenses I disliked the most were the Mir-1V and the Jupiter-9, although I tried several copies. They were bad both mechanically and optically. Maybe earlier ("silver") versions are better, but I don't want to check.

Angarsk: another set of 10 photo cards from 1969 (and 2024)

Cujo 1: Right crank arm (again)

The right crank arm (of my Cannondale Cujo 1) loosened, again. A common problem with the FSA Comet crankset.

I tightened the crank bolt with a 10mm hex wrench.

Staeble-Werk Choro R 35/4.5: Samples [2] - APS-C - f/4.5

Photos taken with the Samsung NX10 (1.5x crop factor, 14.6MP) and the Staeble-Werk Choro R 35/4.5 at f/4.5.

Note that color vignetting ("color shift") is much less than on the Samsung NX2000. This is an advantage of the older 14.6MP sensor over the newer 20MP [APS-C] sensors of the Samsung NX series.

However, manual focusing on the NX10 is difficult due to the insufficient live image magnification.
